Hi all!

After another successful online test and many players joining the adventure, we’re excited to share what’s been happening over the past month, the progress we’ve made, what we’ve improved, and what’s coming next in the upcoming sprint.

What's new:
  -  Added a NPC Dialogue System: now players can interact with NPCs through a dialogue system, setting the foundation for future quests and storylines.
  -  Added Dynamic Sky & Weathers, now the world feels more alive, featuring day-night transitions and weather variations.
  -  Added a Drop & Pick-Up system: enemies now drop loot that can be collected by players.
  -  New and improved Skill Bar: now skills can be dragged along the bar and change into different slots.
  -  Designed a Skill Library UI: a new interface where players can view and manage their skills.
  -  Level Progression System: experienced gain and level up are now fully functional, including a balanced XP curve for player progression.
  -  Rebuilt Inventory System: the entire inventory system has been restructured for better performance, reliability and scalability.
  -  Steam Authentication: Steam accounts are now linked to in-game profiles, showing player's Steam username.

Fixes and Improvements:
  -  Addressed multiple issues found during the last dev test
  -  Massive backend optimization achieved around 95% server crash reduction, resulting in smoother play sessions.
  -  Enhanced environmental lighting for a more immersive world.
  -  Polished various UI elements for consistency and visual clarity.
  -  Skills now execute faster, and players can’t move during animations.
  -  Characters now appear with equipped items by default.
  -  Added the ability to switch seamlessly between cursor mode and gameplay mode.

What’s next?

For the upcoming sprint our focus will be on:
  -  Fixing bugs discovered during the online test.
  -  Improving mechanics, animations, and general movement based on test feedback.
  -  Adding and improving bosses and mobs, aiming for smoother AI and combat mechanics.
  -  Polishing equipment stats and balancing player progression.
  -  Continuing with level design and world-building.
  -  Implementing weapon requirements for different skills to make combat more strategic.
