It’s time for another devlog, and this one is packed with exciting updates. We’ve been focusing on combat, character systems, and core gameplay features that bring Age of Mara closer to feeling like a true MMORPG.
Here’s what we’ve worked on the past weeks:
- New locomotion animations for smoother character movement
- New blendspaces for different weapon types
- Combat and non-combat states added
- Melee combat skill implemented
- New weapons introduced: Bow, Two-handed hammer, Sword, Dagger, and Mace
- New skill added for Bows
- Sit/Stand mode integrated
- Account login & user registration services (coming soon, required for the September 27th test)
- Core character stats added: Strength, Dexterity, Agility, Vitality, Intelligence, Luck
- Substats implemented with math and equations: Physical Attack, Magical Attack, Attack Speed, Casting Speed, and more
